But yes, the floor holds it up, and I've actually been riding it the length of the living room ... I walk it backwards each time. Very short rides, but I can do a lot of them. By the time the weather lets me take it outside, I'll actually have some familiarity with it. Standing starts are getting easier, and soon I'll be practicing close maneuvering. I haven't fallen yet and I've only run into the wall once--very lightly.
