With proper gearing, it's not too bad for me on an upright bike.. probably 4.5 or 5mph.

On the other hand, when I ride my heavy 'bent up that hill, the speed is around 3.5mph... ugh! Keeping it balanced at that speed takes my full attention too. I think there was at least one case where I had to get my feet on the ground quickly to avoid falling over. Starting the 'bent on a 14% grade is a lot of fun too.
