When I fit Tubus racks to my LHT the first thing I did was to run a tap through the braze-ons to chase the threads. Getting some quality A-4 stainless bolts will make your assembly a lot stronger. Assemble everything loosely at first, then tighten it up once you are sure it'll work and fit right. Hope this helps!
