Cassette depends on your terrain. But i chose 12-32 on my 26" bike and so that i would and am never short of gears low or high.

Wow 40kg, by heavy I meant half that or 15kg even 😄.I've tried carrying 15kg with a MTB with 2.1 inch tyres with this CX I plan to use 32mm. Yup I guess bigger chainring 44 would compensate for thinner tyres and not make me over spin I guess that would be perfect thanks man 👍
