Trekking bars, yes. They're far more comfortable than I originally thought they'd be. And cheap enough to try out. Mainly, they're very wide, something like 52mm (?), where the Modolo bars that were on it were probably 42mm, way too narrow for me. Long-legged galoots like me kinda need them, even if we don't know it yet. 😁
Plus the added hand positions really help, on longer rides. I use Tri-color indexed downtube shifters, so only need room for brake levers, on the bars. I'm also using Tri-color brake levers, which look kinda goofy at first, mounted "sideways" like that, but I got used to that in no time. They're really very comfortable, ya just need to be open-minded enough to try them. 😎
