No, the regular Gravel Kings have a traditional file tread pattern. Most people would call it a road tread.
There are also Gravel King SK and "Mud" tires that have more aggressive treads.
Agreed, the Gravel King (without the SK) looks to have an even smoother tread than the Panaracers which I really like. After riding a few hundred miles on the 32, they ride smooth, but I do feel the weight difference from the 700x22 tubular tires I was running on that bike, to be expected.
