It is a pretty good "midnight" blue - looks almost black at times but really stands out in brighter conditions. It was overcast when I took the photos above. The photo below is under brighter kitchen lighting.

I don't understand why the big bike manufacturers don't release bikes these days with a colour like that.

Instead all we are getting is mainly blacks and dark greys with a bit of coloured striping.
