As someone who's been using Garmin stuff for years now, it's great to see people still use "old fashioned" computers. I remember selling quite a lot of them to people when I worked in a shop. Phones can do the basic mapping stuff if you're into that.
The primary reason I moved to Garmin stuff was to train with HR. I might be moving to power soon, which is also nice. I am not planning on racing or doing huge events, but all this data helps me to be better and healthier to do the stuff I enjoy.
