Just got a 2000 GF Kaitai
Seems like it would be a good bike to build. It's just missing wheels and shifters. I looked it up and it is supposed to be a 3x9 setup. I want to make this thing a light as possible street fighter, first step will be ditching the Judy for a rigid fork. Thinking about throwing bull bars on it, or just narrower bars, like off a fixie. When it's all said and done, it might be my new daily and making the high sierra mostly relegated to the trailer puller, when that's built.
