My mum bought the frame from Sid Standards, the shop in Nottingham. Its a green Raleigh Superbe. When we rang up in desperate need of a tube replacement they told us they outsourced quite a few of the frames to mercian workers, they said specifically the Superbe ones. Went to the Mercian guys, who I can confirm are absolute dons, said that it wasn't a frame they built, cant remember how he knew it was down to where it was stamped or something. But he confirmed they built frames for Sid Standard. Thats as far as I know!

Had a quick google and found this.
