Sid Standard Superbes aren't Raleigh Superbes, although Sid Standard might have sold both, if they were a Raleigh dealer.

Raleigh had the largest bike factory in the world, and their Superbe was a tarted up version of a common as muck three speed. They built half a million bikes a year which is a wee bit faster than a shed full of granddads who braze tubes using coal fires can manage.
