Catalogs are rarely the source of all knowledge and truth. Proofs are sent out to printers months in advance, prior to any production. They are more like ideas or concepts, than representing actual production. I have owned several Schwinn that according to the catalogs, do not exist.

Please don't confuse ebay "asking" prices with "selling" prices. Many sellers never get their ask price. some are far from it. Value is determined once an item actually SELLS. Its easy enough to check SOLD prices.
