I recently noticed that backpedalling while on my large chainring and next-to-largest cog sometimes causes the chain to jump off the cog. No good! I think that's as a result of the previous washer I added to the drive side of the axle, so I added a washer to the non-drive side and the problem seems to be solved. The wheel is extra snug between the chain stays, but it went in without a lot of fuss.

P.S. I should have put my original post on this issue in the Bicycle Mechanics forum, but it's too late now.
