Merida Crossway 20MD vs Felt QX60 vs Bergamont helix 3.5i

Hi all,

Need Help...! I am looking for a hybrid bike and have shortlisted the following three:

1. Merida Crossway 20MD (Mechanical disk breaks)

2. Felt QX 60 (v breaks)

3. Bergamont helix 3.5i (Mechanical disk breaks)

I took Felt QX 60, Bergamont helix 3.5i and Merida Crossway 10-v (they did not have a 20MD demo bike and the vendor said that the frame and ride quality of this is almost the same as 20MD).

I now find it difficult to choose one of these as I found the ride quality almost similar, with Felt QX60 slightly better.

But, Merida comes with better spec in terms of a suspension seat post, an adjustable-angle quill stem, front suspension lockout (all these 3 features are not available with Felt or Bergamont) & 8-speed acera rear derailleur (while Felt has 7 speed altus and helix 3.5i comes with 8 speed altus).

I have read that the frame quality is very important when compared to replaceable components and did not find much information about the frame quality of Felt and Bergamont.

All three bikes are available at literally the same price from a local vendor.

Please help me out with this.

Thanks in advance,

Teja
