If you have an old phone without cell service, you can still run apps on it and get a GPS signal. This way, you could run Strava on the old phone for a couple days until the battery dies. If you shut off the old phone when not riding, it may last many days.

​​​​​When you get to your destination, charge the old phone again and then use wifi to upload the ride.
