You are slowly ruining the frame.
Clamping down on the tubing is structurally damaging it...it's the weakest point to be adding additional stress.
I have a steel Fuji from around 1992 that was originally sold with a kickstand clamped to the chainstays. The chainstays are not ruined, and still function fine. I just took the clamp off and the paint isn't even marred that badly. This bike was an abused commuter, too.

I lean my bikes, seems to work fine.
