Yes, I understand. It sounds like the original poster may have difficulty getting a picture of his actual shifters, so I was offering some context based on my experience with these and comparing that with the pictured shifters so, if he's unable to photograph his, he can at least check them against the picture. It sounds like his local bike shop was able to show him some differences between his and genuine units. I do hope that he's able to get a few pictures of his actual shifters and share them with us.
