I love the Giramondo geometry. It seems to fall somewhere nicely between touring and mountain bike.

Some of the components leave much to be desired though: The brakes are mediocre and the wheels only have 32 spokes (36 are better for loaded touring). I'd also prefer a 9-speed cassette (again, longer lasting and more durable), but that's only a minor gripe.

I really hope Masi address some of these shortcomings for 2019 when I'll be in the market for a new steed. I'd happily pay an additional $200-300 for better brakes and more durable wheels. I guess we'll see in a few months...
