My Record Carbonio

Based on my research, 130mm spacing is for 8-11 speed and Shimano didn't introduce 8 speed until 1988 and Campagnolo didn't introduce one until 1991.

Is this bike really from 85-86 or newer?
I bought my Record Carbonio new in 1996. It has an 8-gear freewheel. I bought it through a local shop; Alan send the frame and fork only, and they built it up for me. It's possible that the frame was built in 1995, but almost impossible to imagine it built before that. FWIW, the Serial number on the bottom bracket is (I think) 243614. If yours is much lower than that, it could be earlier; if it's close, it's probably around 1996. Hope that helps.
