We've actually had a good bit of rain, but it has been pretty hot. One of them I think I stepped on while taking the pool solar cover off (might have been lounging on it). That one I'm not sure if it was a bee or not. I think it was a small bee.

The one yesterday I think was a wasp. He was brown looking (as much as I could tell while fleeing in terror) and was still alive after he stung me (because he almost got me again when I went to finish mowing). I gave up and let him have the mower, he owns that part of the yard for now. Hopefully he'll keep it maintained. I threw one of my gloves off so quickly that I somehow lost it between the mower and the house.
