My Giant hybrid has a sloping top tube, which I like. I'm 5'4", and would probably fit a size M, if it had 650b wheels, but they're hard to find outside of mountain bikes, so size S it is. Why don't you like smaller wheels? Just curious. BTW, all of
Surly's small bikes come with 27" wheels, but you could build one with bigger.
