I once built a franken bike out of a bunch of parts I had laying around. Used an old three speed, original back tire, rebuilt front (some wide mountain bike tire, had to replace the axle with something from another tire), brakes cobbled together from a bunch of brakes, had a stick shift, electricians tape for the handlebar grips... It was a monstrosity all right. I never did get around to adjusting it so it fit me... so it never was a good ride. But hey, it was built from the junk I just happened to have lying about and I was kind of proud of it. (although it now it more or less disassembled because I have taken parts from it as I have needed them... oh well).

Anyway, back to your bike, I don't think it looks half bad. And if it rides great, then you definitely have something to be proud of. Good work.
