Pics? SRAM X series parts were never 7 speed, the only 7 speed SRAM was ever really involved with (for MTB), was back in the early Grip Shift days, trigger shifters were 8+ speed.

If you have access to the bike, look at the parts it has, and google image search them to find out exactly what you have, as they are very easy to differentiate when you have them/have photos of them, but pretty much impossible without seeing them somehow.
