I think it's great. The only negative is the price of clothing and accessories doubles. Wheneven I pick up something new (shorts, accessory, etc...), she usually get one as well. We both have Mt bikes, road bikes, and enjoy a tandem. We also have young children (3 & 6) so time is the biggest problem, but when the days get longer, one typically rides in the morning, and the other after work. We can also take the kids with all sorts of combinations (tandem with childs kit, tag-a-longs, trailer). It is one of the few things we both can do. I don't like read and cook like she does, and she really doesn't do much wood workworking.
