Battery life: mine lasts two full days. Generally I charge it every morning while getting ready (less than an hour and closer to 30 minutes) and that works. More would always be better. What it has is adequate. I wear mine while sleeping for sleep tracking. If you don’t wear a watch while you sleep then really not an issue.
Except he wasn't asking about the Apple watch, just wearables in general, hence the caveat. I charge my Garmin every three/four days. This can be a problem on its own though. I charge it so infrequently that I sometime forget about it until it reaches 10% and it warns me. Luckily for me though, that's still enough juice for a full work day/commute back home if that 10% happens while at work or half way through my commute to work.
