You can buy eggs which are very high in vitamin D, they come from hens who are fed a diet high in vitamin D, the problem is that many people are afraid of eating eggs because they've believe a myth that eggs cause heart attacks ...People will eat egg whites but they throw away the yolk which is the most nutritious part of an egg full of vitamins and minerals....Fish such as sardines, herring, cod, salmon are also high in vitamin D...Dairy products are also fortified with vitamin D.
