When the Intracoastal overflows the roadway several times a year and I have to ride through salt water I wash the bike w/ Simple Green, followed by WD-40. That does a decent job.

For the OP problem of salt air, I use Salt Away on my boat. It does a great job of rendering surface salt inert.
