I can not find long lasting battery

I have bright light my problem is the battery. I have a 8.4V 4400mAh and a 6600mAh and they both only give me only 35-45 mins on low. I need a battery that will last 1 1/2 - 2 hours for my night rides. Do battery brands make a difference?
