I just got back from 4 weeks in Italy and even though I had the paper maps, all I used was google maps and it was so helpfull, usually I don't like to rely on technology but man it really made navigating so much easier. 22 Euros for 20 GB of data(I only used 2 GB) and it was well worth the cost.
