I was thinking about buying an ebike, but didn't want a 3rd bicycle; so, I had my old Trek Soho Deluxe retrofitted with a Bafang BBS02 750 Watt mid drive. I tried to continue using the gates belt drive with the 8 speed Nexus IGH, but the alignment was too problematic. I opted for a chain and keeping the IGH.
