When I got the bill from the LBS, with parts and labor (even with a team discount) it would have been cheaper to buy a new entry level set on one of the UK websites. Of course there is a limit to how much you want to spend on a wheel. Sometimes replacement is the better option. On the other hand, replacing a freehub is something that isn’t all the difficult if you can get the freehub...which can a big “if”. You can save a lot on labor if you do it yourself.
