If most people including many cyclists stop riding during winter what makes you think people would adopt a scooter which would be a lot colder to ride on then a bicycle ??...When riding a bicycle at least you're moving and generating heat, on a scooter you just standing there and not moving and your body isn't generating heat. I think you should leave Florida and go up North during winter to get a taste of what real cold feels like.
