Nor are there stop signs on the road the cyclist was riding on in the flat video...at least not for the cyclist. There are also no laws that I know of that say you have to slow at each intersection. So why is the guy in the video a jerk who deserves a flat while the riders in your UK video "good cyclists". Under your rules, they should be slowing for the traffic merging onto the road way. Or, at least, breaking cadence and preparing to stop...just in case.
