The combination of the seat stay caps and Zeus Gran Sport ends set is more consistent with a Competition than a Pro.

Have never seen a pro with this combination of traits.

There was a Pro of about 1968-69 which had these features but it was all paint - no chrome.

Cannot help but wonder if we are looking at a machine which has been extensively reworked.

It is definitely a first quality Raleigh from the time suggested but find it somewhat puzzling.

The Heronic experts are sure to weigh in with more and better information.

If mine, I would wish to examine steerer and interior of shell and seat tube to check for traces of brown "mink" paint...
