As @abshipp noted, it was lovely today south of Cheesehead Land. Rode from Evanston to Hyde Park on Chicago's Lakefront Trail. This was my first ride since the official opening of the separated trail (peds and bikies). Also my first time over the half-finished Navy Pier Flyover. And... My first time using the Wahoo Elemnt Bolt Ellen gave me for Christmas (recorded the round trip as 44.0 miles). The 6 cyclocross tires on the Super Sport worked great, splattering mud all over everything on the one little cinder/dirt stretch by Montrose Harbor. Not the cushiest tubulars, but the price was right.
