Wes was originally trying to run the first leg up into Hearst Castle property and gravel roads. THAT would have been worth getting up at 3:30 for. Maybe that'll happen next year? Just going up Hwy 1 and back isn't enough of an interest to me, especially since there's an excellent chance that there will be a headwind to start off with.
