For those of you riding CA for the first time, what are you doing for a kit? I thought it would be easier to find authentic wool team jersey's, but that's proving to be a challenge. Even the "official" L'Eroica jersey's on the Santini site are microfiber polyester. The repro team kits from Prendas Ciclismo looks great and are far better quality than the eBay junk, but again they're polyester.

The jersey is made of wool and beautifully embroidered with the original "L’Eroica" logo both front and back, and finished with some authentic details such as mother-of-pearl buttons on the back pockets and metal zip on the front.
I'm thinking I'll wear plain bibs with a good chamois, and a modern jersey under the wool jersey - for the extra pockets and itch-prevention.
