mstateglfr 's old bike but he built himself a steel bike I haven't seen yet. I'm not quite sure why he's being so shy about posting pics . . .
My bikes are pretty homely- nothing French like original Motobecane or Peugeot. Since my road bikes are all 25mm max tire except the frame I built, I would guess that is what I would bring for this ride due to the trail surface.
ooh, i did just remember that I have a '92 Cdale T700 frame I am doing a parts bin build on and will make it into a wide tire 2x9 road bike with . 35mm Vittoria Hyper tires for fast rolling comfy fun.
...but nothing would scream American more than riding a fat tubed aluminum US built bike at a French National Day ride.
