I salvaged a FSA crank and BB off a CX frame I just sold which was too large; instead of letting it sit on my shelf I put it to use on my every-day commuter! Going from 170mm to 172.5 - hope I like it or at least don't notice.
My groupset doesn't match but TBH it hasn't matched since I took off the 105 levers in favor of longer Tektro ones (longer levers but more importantly longer hoods, more to grab on to)
My Nishiki got the removed, older 105 crank that went on my weekend recreational bike; I am convinced it's the only hi-tensile Nishiki in town with a 105 crank!
