Cheers! It was sold at Bicyclesport in Toronto, they had a big soft spot for British bikes, especially Randonneurs. Back in the '70's I'd have turned my nose up at anything that wasn't 100% Campy, so i may well have walked past this very bike in the shop and not noticed it!

That's actualy the 1st gen. Rally (the crack-o-matic, I remember replacing broken ones on a weekly basis back in the '80's). Surprisingly light for such a big derailleur and it shifts well too (way better than a Nuvo Record). I will replace it with 1st. gen. Cyclone as soon as I can find one for cheap.
