I will say that the Canyon is a fine bike, I have never ridden one, however I own numerous Giant bikes, including the Defy Advanced and Advanced SL. Both are the older rim brake versions but I have ridden my Defy Advanced for 9 years and at least 30,000 miles. Very comfortable while being very sporty, it generally gets very good reviews in the press and
Giant generally is one of the better bang for the buck bike brands.

I say Giant.

If you want to take a look at the geometries and your fit coordinates, this tool could help www.velogicfit.com use the free frame finder tool and enter your data from your current bike to compare it to each of your options.
