Oh, heck... my wife and I were out riding one day when we crossed a street that had been flooded with mud then drained. We hit the patch of mud and our wheels slid out in unison. We just sat there laughing at each other.

A number of my recumbent-riding friends have gone down at various speeds. I think the worst injury has been skinned buttocks. Painful but it's easier to deal with than a broken collarbone.
