good. of course two would be better, but when testing new tires or sizes, better to buy one and see how it works. forums tend to shout about some Fab tire, and it may be so. the downside of course is that it may be worse than what you were using. happened to me, so now i test and see.

wider tires on the front works for me, went from 25mm to 35mm front tire on my touring bicycle and now a world of difference in comfort. changed the back from 25mm to 32mm because that was what was on the shelf. i like to use up all my tires in a logical way. for short trips i don't mind using my road bike with 25mm tires, but eventually even that may change.
