In her defense though, she probably feels a lot like I do when I see people out in the road walking, jogging, or like this guy, in a power chair, WHEN THERE'S A PERFECTLY GOOD SIDEWALK A FOOT AWAY.
The motorized wheelchair belongs on the road, in my humble. Faster than walking, easier to deal with intersections and curbs.

As for jogging, lots of people do it because asphalt on the road is easier on the knees than concrete on the sidewalks.
