I suppose one could get used to no decals, however if a bike is re-painted, I think it needs the original style decals put back on it.
Not sure why I feel that way, but I do.
I could care less whether the components are correct for the age of the frame. Nor do I care for period correct colors. But the frame needs it's proper decals to give it identity and heritage.
