I do that also, not only for the ozone but also the wrapper helps to keep things from catching and poking into it when I shove stuff in. Also if you put the stick-on patches in there it keeps them losing the adhesive so quickly. I don't normally use those, but there's not much reason not to keep a few for the last resort.
