If the spindle is hollow, use a long drill bit that passes through the spindle you will be drilling in the same direction as pulling the broken threaded section form the broken side. Before drilling, gently warm the spindle with a torch around the broken bolt and then try using your drill. You may get lucky and have the broken bolt spin out of the spindle. Smiles, MH
I will pass this info along as I no longer have the bike. I put another model 93 on the bike with 52t 42t rings and a 118 spindle. I gave him the complete triple as well. He has lots of options. He could always remove the 42t and put the 38t on the double and forgo the triple if the need arises. The triple is just cool because you get half step plus a bailout 38 t.
