As a person who builds props/sets for shows (theater.. not movies) i'd say if you are looking to much at the prop, then the movie is not doing its job. There will be heck to pay in the vintage bike crowd, but luckily 99.99 of those watching the movie could care less and it will be fine except on forums such as this.
Unless. Unless. The movie is about biking? If that is the case, the movie is fubared. but even then, do your job and get paid.
