I have one of the 60's wet noodle tandems in my shed. At first it spooked me, but quickly got used to it and even enjoy riding it now. Its like riding a leaf spring. Columbia frames don't seem to suffer from that. These frames are heavy duty.

Maybe tooo heavy duty, maybe MA doesn't have hills?
