I bought my 1973 MKM Dominator as a used frame in 1981, and the label said that its tubes, forks, and stays forks are 531DB. I believe the Super Courses have straight gauge 531 for their 3 frame tubes.

I had an Atala with a label that said 3 straight gauge 531 frame tubes, and I loved it, but the MKM is a sweeter ride. I attribute that to the double-butted steel, but that's just the most obvious difference. In any case, I expect your rebadged MKM is a sweeter ride than a Super Course, given the same components and wheels.
